Summer is here!
Finally summer is here! It has been sunny and hot this week. And the lake has been calling me. We have come through the month of shifting through our stuff, and I hope you feel like you have new focus and direction. I am actually looking forward to the fall already because I can feel the energy building, and I am excited to get going with my new classes and workshops, as well as doing more personal healing consultations. I have a feeling that with the shift coming in early September, which will require that we actually live as True Ones, there will be a whole new surge of energy.
In the meanwhile, we still have a couple of months to fine tune Who We Really Are. Who is your Authentic Self? What are his or her values? What is most important to him or her? It's time to now know that for sure! For with September there is a new energy template moving in that requires us to live our lives authentically. And how can we live authentically unless we know ourselves, truly? It is time to shed the last bit of falseness from our being and let the True Self out! It's not worth hiding under the covers any more. It's getting too hot and uncomfortable in there.
I am going to Finland for a month. I am going back to my childhood home, and that is likely to bring up some feelings. It will be interesting to see what comes up to be released, and what comes into view that is an important part of who I am and needs to be integrated into my wholeness. This is what this new energy is about: bringing back the parts of your Authentic Self that you may have shoved aside and letting go of the parts of your self that are not truly you. It is time to discern, once and for all, what is part of a program and what is true and real!
So, as you go about your summer fun, let yourself get in touch with the deeper parts of yourself. Let the Inner Child come out and play. Listen to the Inner Child; it may have a lot to say. Of course, I will have a chance to do just that back in Finland. Most of us have forgotten the magic and wonder of the Inner Child. The child in us is pure and innocent. It trusts life and is excited about life! If we don't feel this, it simply means that the Child has gone into hiding because it has been hurt. Now is the time to nurture and love ourselves in order that the Inner Child feels safe to come out.
Without integrating the child part of us into our adult lives we will not be able to feel the magic and wonder of life; we will not be able to be creative and have fun. There will not be much true enjoyment and happiness in our lives, and we will definitely not feel fulfilled. For these are qualities of the Inner Child, along with the trust that we can make anything happen in our lives. Do you remember the exciting things you imagined as a child that you would do when you grow up? What happened to those dreams?
They are not gone. They have simply been buried under all the obligations, cynicism and seriousness of the adult self. It's time to explore your dreams again. You don't have to let go of the wisdom that you have gleaned along the way, but you do need to let go of the mistrust and the disbelief. For it is possible to have dreams come true! Anything you believe is possible! Give it the same chance you gave yourself when you learnt to ride a bike. You did it! You learnt to keep your balance! Life can be the same. Sometimes we fall off balance, but we can always climb back on the saddle and try again. We will succeed for as long as we don't give up!
So, this summer, find out what gives you the most joy. This is your true passion. This is what you came here for! It is your gift to yourself and the world. I don't care how small and insignificant, or how enormous and important it seems to be. Whatever it is, all I care is that you uncover it! It is the Authentic You! Is it worth the sacrifice to try to be somebody else, just because you're tying to please others, or because you think that you won't survive if you let the inauthentic part of you go? Do you want to find yourself one day on your death bed and regret that you didn't live your life your way?
Are you worried that you would be selfish if you lived your life your way? I can assure you that when you truly know Who You Are and live your joy and passion, you will become a light in the world; you will inspire countless others, and this will be your greatest service to them, that they too will honor themselves to be real and true. I can also assure you that you will be much more loving and patient and forgiving of others when you are not in the sacrifice and compromise mode. For sacrifice and compromise never brought forth anything but resentment and judgement. However, being happy as you are always brings forth unconditional love for yourself and others.
This has certainly been my experience. The more I let myself follow my joy and do what I love, the more patient and loving I feel. And it becomes easy to forgive whatever comes my way that does not reflect my joy and love. It then simply dissolves and ceases to be an issue. And I move on with peace of mind and a happy heart.
I look forward to this summer, and I'll let you know how my Finland trip went when in get back in August.
Have yourself a fantastic summer. Let your light shine! I can't wait to see it!
With love,
Elara
